Sell Tokens

Selling on AceBot is just as simple as buying. Choose to sell a percentage of your position or a specific amount.

Quick Sell with Commands

The fastest way to sell is with the /sell command: 
/sell 0x1234...5678 50%
This sells 50% of your token position immediately.

Command Syntax

/sell <token_address> [amount|percentage%]
  • token_address — The contract address of the token you want to sell
  • amount — (Optional) Number of tokens to sell, OR
  • percentage% — (Optional) Percentage of your balance to sell (add % symbol)

Examples

/sell 0xabc...def           # Sell default percentage (usually 100%)
/sell 0xabc...def 50%       # Sell 50% of your position
/sell 0xabc...def 25%       # Sell 25% of your position
/sell 0xabc...def 1000      # Sell exactly 1000 tokens

Sell Using the Menu

Open Sell Menu

Enter Token Address

Paste the token contract address you want to sell.[SCREENSHOT: Token address input for sell]

Select Wallet

Choose which wallet to sell from. Only wallets holding this token will be shown.[SCREENSHOT: Wallet selection showing token balance]

Choose Amount

Select how much to sell:Preset percentages:
  • 25% — Sell a quarter of your position
  • 50% — Sell half
  • 75% — Sell most
  • 100% — Sell everything (MAX)

Review and Confirm

Review your sell order:
  • Tokens you’re selling
  • Estimated native tokens you’ll receive
  • Current price and slippage

Understanding the Sell Screen

Sell from Balances

You can sell directly from your balance view:

Open Balances

Tap 💰 Balances from the main menu.

Find Your Token

Scroll to find the token you want to sell.

Tap Sell

Tap the 🔴 Sell button next to the token.

Choose Amount and Confirm

Select your sell percentage and confirm.

Sell from Watchlist

If a token is in your watchlist:
  1. Tap 👀 Watchlist
  2. Find the token
  3. Tap 🔴 Sell TOKEN
  4. Select amount and confirm

Setting Default Sell Percentage

To avoid selecting a percentage every time:
  1. Tap ⚙️ Settings
  2. Select Default Sell %
  3. Enter your preferred default (e.g., 100% to always sell all)

Selling with Multiple Wallets

If you hold the same token in multiple wallets:

Open Sell Menu

Start a sell as normal.

Select Multiple Wallets

Instead of one wallet, select all wallets you want to sell from.

Set Percentage

Choose the percentage to sell. This applies to each selected wallet.

Confirm

Each wallet executes its own sell transaction.

Partial vs Full Sells

When to use:
  • Taking profits while keeping exposure
  • Scaling out of a position
  • Reducing risk without fully exiting
Common strategies:
  • Sell 25% at 2x
  • Sell 25% at 5x
  • Sell 25% at 10x
  • Keep 25% for long term

Price Impact on Large Sells

Selling large amounts can move the market price against you:
  • Low impact — Your sell is small relative to liquidity
  • Medium impact — You might get a worse price
  • High impact — Consider splitting into multiple sells
AceBot shows estimated price impact on the confirmation screen.
For large positions, consider selling in chunks (25% at a time) to minimize price impact.

Failed Sell Transactions

If your sell fails:
The price moved more than your slippage allows. Increase slippage and try again.
You don’t have enough native tokens for gas. Add more native tokens to your wallet.
Some tokens prevent selling. Check GoPlus security warnings before buying.
Some tokens have high sell taxes (30%+). Factor this into your expected returns.

Tips for Successful Sells

  1. Check liquidity depth before selling large amounts
  2. Use appropriate slippage — higher for volatile tokens
  3. Verify you’re selling the right token — check the contract address
  4. Consider gas costs — small sells might not be worth the gas
